Heather Black first tried quilting in 1995 but didn’t
catch the quilting bug until 2011 when she designed,
pieced and hand quilted her first queen size quilt.
She discovered modern quilting soon after and has
been designing and making quilts ever since. Her works
and patterns have been featured in various publications
and displayed at international, national and regional
quilt shows, including International Quilt Festival,
AQS QuiltWeek, QuiltCon, MQX, Road To California
and many more. Her Urban Trek quilt won first place
for use of negative space at QuiltCon 2018 and several
ribbons in local shows.
